an unexpected gift!

I'd written to the agency, complaining (in the way that only a freaking-out adoptive parent can) that Helena looked so sad in her update pics last month... so she sent me these! Saying- yes, she doesn't like strangers or cameras- but look- we got her to smile!

Mary, Bob, and Violet come home!

One week ago, Mary and Bob arrived home from Taiwan with their sweet daughter Violet. We hope that Violet and Helena, born only 11 days apart, will be the closest of cousins...

Six month update
