We're trying to wean Helena off her pacifier. This is no easy chore. She refers to it as her 'mama', i kid you not. We're only letting her have it when in her crib. In the following sequence, it is late afternoon and Helena is tired and getting grumpy - and really wants her pacifier. Even when she's crying she's so darn cute. I ended up giving her three OTHER pacifiers (she only has one she likes). She tried each one, made a face at it, and cast it aside. Finally, she took some comfort from her sippy cup.

awesome photos! she is so adorable...even mad! when matthew got a cold and couldn't breathe with a pacifier in his mouth, i just stopped giving it to him. hope she does well without it soon!
